    Last Updated: August 31, 2026

By agreeing to this Research Consent, you confirm that you have read and understood the information below and voluntarily consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of your biological samples and associated data for the research purposes described in this Research Consent.

    Section 01

    Voluntary Participation

Your participation in research is voluntary. You are not required to participate in research, and your decision to participate or not participate will not affect your ability to access or use NONPAREY's products or services, except where otherwise expressly stated.

    Section 02

Use of Biological Samples and Associated Data

You consent to provide biological samples and associated data for research purposes. This may include genetic information, genetic data, health-related information, and other information associated with your biological sample.

Your biological samples and associated data may be collected, processed, analyzed, de-identified or coded, stored securely, and used for current and future research purposes.

Your participation may involve the use of information in individually identifiable, coded, or de-identified form, depending on the research activity. Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, biological samples and associated data will be coded or de-identified before being used for research.

Research may include genetic research, scientific analysis, validation, and development of tests, technologies, products, services, methods, algorithms, or other applications.

Your biological samples and associated data may be shared with or processed by NONPAREY, its affiliates, research partners, laboratories, service providers, and other authorized parties where reasonably necessary for the research purposes described in this Research Consent.

Unless separately disclosed to you and permitted by applicable law, your biological samples and associated data will not be used for purposes other than those described in this Research Consent.

Your biological samples and associated data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries outside Singapore where reasonably necessary for the research purposes described in this Research Consent and in accordance with applicable law.

Where a specific research purpose is not known at the time your consent is obtained, your biological samples and associated data may be used for general research relating to genetics, genomics, biological characteristics, biomarkers, scientific methods, testing technologies, and other research areas reasonably related to NONPAREY's research activities, subject to applicable law and any applicable research approvals.

Your biological samples and associated data may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the research purposes described in this Research Consent, including for ongoing, completed, or future research, subject to applicable law.

    Section 03

    Genetic Information

You understand that genetic information derived from your biological sample may contain information about you and may also reveal information that could be relevant to biological relatives.

Genetic information may be processed, analyzed, stored, and used for the research purposes described in this Research Consent.

You understand that genetic information is inherently personal and that, despite reasonable safeguards and de-identification or coding measures, there remains a risk that information may be re-identified, particularly when combined with information from other sources.

    Section 04

    Potential Benefits

You may not receive any direct personal or medical benefit from participating in research.

Research conducted using your biological samples or associated data may contribute to scientific knowledge and the development or improvement of tests, technologies, products, services, methods, or other applications that may benefit others.

    Section 05

    No Compensation or Financial Benefit

You will not receive compensation or any financial benefit from research conducted using your biological samples or associated data, including any resulting discoveries, inventions, products, services, tests, technologies, methods, or other developments.

You will not receive royalties, licensing fees, or other financial benefits arising from research outcomes developed using your biological samples or associated data.

Nothing in this section excludes any compensation, reimbursement, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

    Section 06

    Intellectual Property and Research Outcomes

You acknowledge that research involving your biological samples or associated data may contribute to discoveries, inventions, methods, algorithms, technologies, tests, products, services, or other intellectual property.

You will not acquire any ownership interest in, or right to receive compensation, royalties, or other financial benefits from, any such discoveries, inventions, methods, algorithms, technologies, tests, products, services, or other intellectual property solely because your biological samples or associated data were used in the research.

You also acknowledge that research involving your biological samples or associated data may contribute to the development of new or improved tests, technologies, processes, products, or services, and that NONPAREY, its affiliates, research partners, or other authorized parties may own or otherwise hold rights in such developments.

    Section 07

    Information You Provide

You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete, and not misleading to the best of your knowledge and to update such information where reasonably necessary.

You understand that inaccurate or incomplete information may affect the quality, interpretation, or usefulness of research conducted using your biological samples or associated data.

    Section 08

    Research Findings and Incidental Findings

Research findings, including individual research results, may not be provided or returned to you.

NONPAREY and its research partners are not obligated to provide individual research findings or incidental findings arising from research, except where required by applicable law or otherwise expressly stated as part of the applicable research.

Where future research expressly provides for re-identification in connection with an incidental finding, you will be informed of the applicable policy and, where required by applicable law, whether and how you may indicate whether you wish to be re-identified and informed of such finding.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in the applicable research information, you should not expect to receive individual research findings or incidental findings.

    Section 09

    Risks

Participation in research involving biological samples and genetic information may involve risks, including risks relating to privacy, confidentiality, and the potential re-identification of information that has been de-identified or coded. As the biological samples collected by NONPAREY are saliva samples, the collection of the sample itself is not expected to involve significant physical risk.

There is a risk that information that has been de-identified or coded could, in limited circumstances, be re-identified, particularly when combined with information from other sources.

NONPAREY will take reasonable measures to protect your biological samples and associated data. However, no method of storage, security, or de-identification can completely eliminate all risks, including risks arising from events or circumstances beyond NONPAREY's reasonable control. Nothing in this Research Consent limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

    Section 10

    Confidentiality and Publication

We will take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of your personal data, biological samples, and associated research information.

Your identity will not be intentionally disclosed in research publications or presentations. Research results may be published or presented using de-identified or coded information so that you are not directly identified.

However, no method of de-identification or coding can completely eliminate the possibility of re-identification.

    Section 11

    Storage and Future Research

Your biological samples and associated data may be stored and retained for future research, including research that has not yet been identified at the time of collection, rather than destroyed or discarded after their initial research use, where permitted by applicable law and any applicable research approvals.

Future research may include research into genetics, biological characteristics, health-related traits, scientific methods, testing technologies, algorithms, products, services, or other areas reasonably related to the purposes described in this Research Consent.

You may be contacted for further consent where a proposed use of your biological samples or associated data requires additional consent under applicable law, the applicable research protocol, or research approval.

    Section 12

    International Transfer and Use

Your biological samples, genetic information, and associated data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries outside Singapore where reasonably necessary for the research purposes described in this Research Consent.

NONPAREY will take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers and processing are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection and research requirements.

    Section 13

    Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent to participate in research or to the future use of your biological samples and associated data by contacting privacy@nonparey.com.

Where applicable law provides for withdrawal of consent, the effect of withdrawal may depend on whether your biological samples are individually identifiable, whether they have already been used in research, and whether it is practicable to discontinue further use.

Withdrawal will not affect research information obtained before your withdrawal. Such information may continue to be retained and used for research to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Where biological samples or associated data have already been incorporated into completed analyses, publications, research results, or other research outputs, withdrawal will not require NONPAREY or its research partners to recall, destroy, modify, or retract those outputs where doing so is not reasonably practicable or is not required by applicable law.

Withdrawal will not affect discoveries, inventions, technologies, products, services, methods, publications, or other research outcomes that have already been generated or developed.

Nothing in this section limits any withdrawal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

    Section 14

    Contact for Research

You may be contacted by NONPAREY or its authorized research partners regarding research participation, additional information, clarification, or further consent where required.

If you have questions about the research studies in which you are involved, the use of your biological samples or associated data, this Research Consent, or if you wish to provide feedback regarding the research, please contact NONPAREY at privacy@nonparey.com.

    Section 15

    Costs and Expenses

Participation in research is not expected to result in any additional costs or expenses to you unless otherwise stated in the applicable research information provided to you.

Where participation in a particular research study may result in expenses or other costs to you, the applicable research information will describe those costs before you participate, where required by applicable law.

    Section 16

    Applicable Law

This Research Consent is subject to the laws of Singapore and any other applicable laws and regulations governing the collection, use, storage, and research use of human biological samples, genetic information, and personal data.
